Darlene Hart

Darlene Hart founded USTAXFS in 1986 to serve US Individuals living abroad who needed tax and investment services. Since that time, USTAXFS has significantly expanded its tax services with Darlene specifically responsible for managing the Swiss offices. Darlene has over 40 years of tax, accounting, finance, retirement, trust and estate planning experience. She advises clients in the Swiss offices on the tax implications of foreign investments in the US and US investment abroad, covering areas including pre-immigration planning, foreign pensions, and foreign grantor and non-grantor trusts. She also collaborates with banks, financial institutions, and trust companies, helping them manage relationships with US clients and meet US tax compliance requirements. She is a recognized speaker on the foreign side of the US tax law and has been leading the firm's expansion into the Middle East, building professional networks and advising clients on US tax issues related to digital assets, family governance, intergenerational planning, and establishing foundations and trusts.
