Corporate Governance & Compliance
Corporate Governance Codices (CDC) developed on an international level to an important instrument to safeguard compliance of companies with applicable laws and regulations for the benefit of their stakeholders. In 2014, 91 countries have implemented 345 codices, in industrial and emerging countries. Drivers of this process are, for example, the globalisation of the capital markets, the international financing of international conglomerates, cross-border mergers, economic crises and the deteriorating trust in national and international companies and business transactions.
This Practice Group will look at the important elements of CDCs and a tool-box for proper implementation of CDCs.
