Marco Izzo

Marco is the Chief Operating Officer at GGI and GCG. Originally from Italy, his background ranges over economics, business management, consulting, marketing and project mentoring. Marco is also a qualified Chartered Accountant and is the go-to person at GGI and GCG for all matters related to membership, projects, business development and partnerships. Marco studied Economics and Business Management with a focus on Marketing and Consulting at the University of Sannio (Italy). He was also an intern at the Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry, an international Business Administration programme which takes place at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA (USA). He is passionate about outdoor activities and enjoys sports, most of all basketball (which he played for 16 years), but also tennis, squash, archery, jogging, hiking and skiing. He is also particularly interested in geopolitics and Sustainability, ESG & CSR topics.
