I have a client who is a Mid size auto component manufacturer specialising in Friction materials (brake pads, brake shoes etc.), with presence in India, Europe and China. They are present both in the OEM and after market supply area. They are looking to expand in the North American market and would like to target a Joint Venture with an auto component player (preferably also in Friction material) who has a good distribution chain in North America. The ticket size for the JV investment by the Indian partner is less than 10 million USD.
I was wondering whether any of the GGI members have any clients operating in the said space who may be interested in such an opportunity. The GGI Member could represent the American side and us the Indian side.
