GGI Asia-Pacific Regional Conference

Singapore is calling! Together with sponsoring host firm HJM Asia Law & Co LLC, we invite you to join us for this first GGI event in this wonderful city for a few days of business, new ideas, great conversations – and plenty of opportunities to experience one of Asia’s most exciting cities. 

Friday’s conference programme combines a keynote session, insights into the global political economy and international relations, member presentations and focused Expert Group meetings covering Corporate & Tech, International Taxation, Auditing, Reporting & Compliance, and Litigation & Dispute Resolution. Just as importantly, there will be plenty of time away from the meeting room to reconnect with familiar faces and build new relationships over the welcome reception, informal dinner and closing dinner.

And then there’s Singapore itself.

Few cities pack quite so much into such a compact space. You can move from the colourful streets and cafés of Little India, Kampong Glam and Chinatown to the futuristic skyline of Marina Bay in a single afternoon. Singapore is also one of Asia’s great food destinations: from Michelin-starred restaurants and rooftop bars to hawker centres serving some of the best – and most affordable – food in the city. Add world-class shopping, tropical gardens, striking architecture and a nightlife scene that ranges from sophisticated cocktails to lively riverside bars, and there is plenty of reason to extend your stay for a day or two.

We’ll give you a taste of the city before the conference even begins. On Thursday afternoon, the optional “Windows to Singapore” tour explores the cultures, food and heritage of Little India, Kampong Glam and Chinatown. Then on Saturday, all registered delegates can join “Heritage to Horizons: Singapore’s Garden Story”, taking us from the UNESCO-listed Singapore Botanic Gardens and National Orchid Garden to the spectacular Flower Dome, Cloud Forest and Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay.

And December is an excellent time to be there. The city is dressed for the festive season, Orchard Road comes alive after dark, and Singapore’s year-round warm weather makes a welcome change from winter for members travelling from Europe and North America.
