GGI North American Regional Conference

04-07June 2026
Cancún, Mexico

We invite you, our members and friends, to step away from the everyday and invest in your network in a most breathtaking destination. This will not be just another conference; it's a premier event designed to foster connection, spark innovation and provide a platform for all of our members to connect and also to share experiences and expertise.

Why Attend?

  • Connect with GGI members, not just from the North American region but also from other regions.
  • Forge powerful connections and create lasting partnerships. The relationships you build --whether at the coffee breaks, the dinners or in the expert group sessions -- are the ones that can lead to future collaborations and lifelong friendships.
  • Expand your horizons. Dive deep into the topics that are relevant to you. From our plenary sessions to our expert group meetings, the speakers will focus on not just sharing expertise but also providing practical skills and actionable strategies.
  • Experience unforgettable social events. We certainly work hard and play hard. Just ask anyone who's ever attended one of our events before.

As usual, we also invite you to connect directly with the Chairs of our Expert Groups if you are interested in making a presentation or running a panel. We also have a limited number of spaces for workshops -- contact GGI Head Office if you would like to organize one.

We look forward to having you join us in Cancun.

On the FIFA World Cup 2026: The Mexico matches will be held in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey and the tournament begins several days after our conference concludes. There should be no impact on our event whatsoever.

On safety and travel conditions: We know that recent news about security events in Mexico has prompted questions from some members, and we want to address this directly.

In late February, security operations targeting cartel leadership in Jalisco (over 1,200 miles away from Cancun) prompted brief precautionary advisories in several Mexican states. Quintana Roo -- where Cancun is located -- was unaffected: travel and tourism continued to operate normally throughout, and any advisories were lifted within 24 hours.

The US Government's Travel Advisory for Quintana Roo remains at Level 2 ("Exercise Increased Caution"), which is the same level applied to France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and dozens of other popular destinations worldwide. The JW Marriott, like all properties we select for our conferences, maintains rigorous security standards, including dedicated Tourist Police, National Guard patrols, and 24-hour resort security.

For three decades, GGI has delivered safe and enriching conferences around the world, and we remain fully confident in Cancun this June. We warmly encourage those who haven't yet registered to join us for what promises to be a wonderful event.
