Events Coordinator & Office Administrator
Christina Schmidt joined GGI in July 2015 , she is employed in the GGI Head Office in Zurich where she is the Events Co-ordinator and Office Administrator this involves a great deal of multitasking as she must ensure that the conference runs smoothly, from the Initial stage of conception right through to providing support during the event or conference. She also assists the communications team with many projects. For this she has had to develop a keen talent of thinking on her feet and the ability to troubleshoot.
Over the past seven years, she has gained valuable experience in hospitality and customer service industry in Switzerland, working as a Receptionist, Junior Accountant and Quality Co-ordinator in various hotels in the Zurich area.
Christina grew up on the outskirts of Zurich with English and German as her native languages. She also speaks French.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
