Samantha Stent

Sam is a Partner, based in our Colchester office. She is a Partner within the tax advisory team, specialising in personal tax planning and global mobility. Sam trained as a Chartered Tax Adviser with one of the big four accounting firms and then went on to run her own tax practice for a number of years. More recently, she worked for a third sector organisation helping vulnerable clients resolve their tax issues. Sam joined Scrutton Bland in 2021, becoming an Associate Partner in 2023, and her extensive personal tax experience and friendly approach have been a great addition to the Colchester tax team. Outside of work Sam is a keen poker player and enjoys long walks with her rescue dog.
